What makes the price go up or down
Three factors dominate the budget of any enterprise wireless network. The area and the construction — a 200 m² open-plan space is a straightforward project; the same space divided by stone walls in an old Lisbon building requires more access points and a more careful design. concurrent users — 10 people reading emails is different from 40 on video calls. And the existing wiring — if the building already has structured cabling under the right conditions, a significant part of the investment is saved.
Examples by company size
- Office for up to 15 people — typically 2 to 3 professional access points, a switch and configuration of separate networks. It is the most common and fastest project: one day for installation.
- Company of 30 to 80 people — coverage survey, 4 to 10 access points, centralised management and guest network. Phased installation without interrupting work.
- Hotel, clinic or warehouse — projects with their own requirements (guest networks, healthcare data, industrial zones), always based on an on-site survey.
Each project is costed individually — which is why we don't publish a fixed price list. We publish something better: free quotation with site visit, so that the number it receives is real.
What should be included (and many forget)
A serious business Wi-Fi quote always includes: a survey or coverage check, professional equipment with a warranty, configuration of separate networks (staff, guests, equipment), documentation of what was installed and — what almost everyone forgets — Who manages the network afterwards. Equipment needs updates and someone has to react when something fails. It's the difference between buying a setup and having a managed network.
The calculation you should do before the budget
Before comparing quotes, do this sum: how many people in your company rely on the Wi-Fi, and how much does an hour of each person's time cost? If 30 people waste 5 minutes a day with a slow network, that's over 60 hours a month. A professional network stops looking like a cost — it becomes one of the most obvious savings for the company.
